McDowell Yearbook
Welcome to Yearbook at McDowell!
Yearbook student staff will do the following for the McDowell yearbook:
- Envelope ethical journalistic practices into everything performed
- Develop a yearbook theme
- Follow through the theme in all yearbook elements
- Design graphics
- Take photos at events
- Edit photos
- Incorporate photos into yearbook
- Write photo captions and page stories
- Ensure that all yearbook elements positively and accurately represent our school, district, students, and community
Our goal
Offer affordable yearbooks at McDowell that capture meaningful moments for our students, families, staff, and community through photos and stories that retell the moment for many years to come. We also provide the yearbook as a creative avenue for our McDowell yearbook student staff so that they can continue to build on the principles that we support at McDowell.
Please note that our intention is not to make profit through the yearbook. We prioritize lower costs that help us provide a yearbook without creating a new expense for the school.
